Pre-Sales Answers
- Q: What is Pluggo
Runtime and why do I have to install it? Why do you guys
use it?
A: Pluggo Runtime is a free set of extensions
that allow our plugins to be automatically compatible with
RTAS, VST and AU host programs. Pluggo Runtime also provides
cross-platform capability.
Pluggo is the natural host technology for plugins created
using the Max/MSP development software. Max/MSP allows us
to develop our plugins in a feature-rich environment where
we can modify our code and HEAR the results in real-time.
This is one key reason our plugins sound musical: we do
not code "blindly". We code with our EARS.
This combination of out-of-the-box host and platform support
with a superb programming environment allows us to create
great sounding plugins, have fun doing it and keep costs
low.
The manual that came with your plugin should specify which
version of Pluggo Runtime is best for your plugin and provide
you with the appropriate links to download the indicated
version.
- Q: Do your plugins
work with [insert your favorite weird audio software here]
????
A: Probably, but we cannot test our plugins
with every weird application out there. So, it's always
best to download the demos of our plugins and try them for
yourself before you buy!
You can find the demo download section on every product
page, under the tab labeled "Demos".
- Q: What kind copy
protection does TriTone Digital use?
A: We use serial-number based authorization. Your serial number will be sent to you immediately after your purchase.
- Q: I have a laptop
and a desktop? Can I install your plugins on both systems?
How about my girlfriend's computer?
A: We support a second license for use
on a laptop only. This does not mean a second license for
your best friend or one for your studio rig and one for
your home computer. So, please be honest and do not abuse
this policy. We may even ask for a picture of the laptop
next to your desktop!
- Q: Are your
products compatible with the new "MacIntel" machines?
A: Yes.
Purchase Answers
- Q: Can I pay by credit
card?
A: Yes, you can pay by credit card
from most countries. Just select the radio button to the
right of the credit card fields on the payment screen and
then fill in the required information.
If you receive an error message while trying to complete your
purchase, your country is not supported by our merchant
bank account. Please email us at sales@tritonedigital.com
for other payment options.
Authorization Answers
- Q: How do I authorize my new plugins?
A: Please refer to the manual that comes with your download for detailed instructions. It's easy, we promise!
- Q: How long until I receive my serial number?
A: You will receive your serial number immediately after your purchase.
Installation Answers
- Q: I'm having problems
installing your plugins. What do I do?
A: Please re-read the manual that came
in your plugin download file. Follow the instructions EXACTLY.
If this does not solve your problem, please visit the support
section of this site and fill out the support form.
Website and Email Accounts
- Q: I purchased
one of your products several years ago and have tried to
login to your website with the email address and password
from that purchase, but they do not work. What's the problem?
A: The new site is a blank slate: it does
not contain data from purchases made on the old site.
You will need to signup for an account on this site to make
a new purchase or to post a review of a product.
- Q: I've
signed up for your email list, but when I try to login to
your main site with that information, it does not work.
What's the problem?
A: Our email management software is separate
from our e-commerce software.
We imported all existing customers and opt-in email subscriptions
into the new email management program when this site was
launched May 28, 2006.
If you were on the list we imported at that time, you should
receive a confirmation email.
If you have not received a confirmation email by June 7,
2006, please signup for our email list using the signup
link in the right column of this page.
- Q: Why should
I signup for your email list?
A: We maintain one email list. This email
list is used for announcing product updates, new product
releases and all other communication. If you own one of
our products, you have to signup for our email list to receive
product updates.
